If you are an individual who receives salary and/or have your own business you can file your income tax via IRIS (an e filing system by FBR – Federal Board of Revenue)

All you have to do is follow these simple steps:

1. Log in to IRIS homepage: (Picture 1) https://iris.fbr.gov.pk/infosys/public/txplogin.xhtml
2. Access Enrollment Form which is at the bottom right corner (Picture 2). Provide the following details and then submit the online Enrollment form. 
   • CNIC number, which shall be provided as 13 digits without “-” or spaces
   • Cell No. must be registered on your name
   • Email address
3. You will receive “PIN codes” on your provided “Cell No.” and “Email Address”. 
4. Enter the received codes via Email/SMS in respective fields. (Picture 3)
5. If verified, you will get the login credentials over Email/SMS and shall use them to login to Iris.
